special edition grenade bunny | lucky bunny x hold up art x pretty in plastic

I really like the rusty look on Lucky Bunny’s new limited (20) Special Edition Grenade Bunny, which made its debut at New York Comic Con 2011 today.  This dirty little thing is in partnership with Hold Up Art and Pretty in Plastic (PIP).  The bad boy bunny retails for $200 and is available for pre-orders at PIP’s booth #589 or through Hold Up Art (info@holdupart.com / http://www.holdupart.com).

The new release is hand painted and naturally oxidized to create a rusted look and will be same dimensions and weight as the original collectible toy (approx. 4.25″ x 6″). Only 20 pieces will be released in this unique finish, and will retail for $200. The Special Edition will also come beautifully packaged in a hand made wooden grenade crate.

Wood crate packaging with the new Grenade Bunny?  Yes, please. Take a look at how the original one looked:

This past weekend, I also had the privilege of seeing the super sized 3 feet Grenade Bunny in person and I must say, it was exploding with awesomeoness.
